Thoughts: I did not like this at all.  The animation and the character designs were good, but the story was God awful.  I was so bored during this I got up and left and did other things and it was still the same boring movie when I came back.  I’ve heard this film described as “an abandoned movie someone wanted to try and resurrect, but failed horribly”  I’d say that’s a 100% accurate rating.  This wasn’t even funny. :C  

Recommend: Not worth it.

Rating: A-

thoughts:  This movie loses point because I had to see Kathy Bates naked.  This was very good.  I felt no matters how ridiculous this movie got, it was very real.  ANyways, this was written very well and the main character, Schmidt, was really well developed.  The end.  It’s a good movie.

Recommend:  Yes.  If you don’t mind seeing Kathy Bates naked.

Thoughts:  The only reason I watched this is because my boyfriend’s dad is in it.  It’s a really bad movie.  It has such a potential to be a really interesting thriller, but no.  This movie chose to be bad and not make any sense.  ps, my boyfriend’s dad isn’t Richard Gere.

Recommend:  Eh.  it’s pretty bad.

Thoughts:  I kind of view this game as being two different games.  The multiplayer and the campaign.  I’ve played this shit out of the multiplayer, I love it.  The campaign is pretty good too.  I tend to like a game with a little bit more story.  Oh well.  The only real flaw I’ve seen in this game is the glitchyness.  Textures don’t load properly, things like that.  Also sometimes it doesn’t give you achievements when you should have earned them.  Oh well.

Recommend:  If you don’t feel like playing COD, play this!

Thoughts:  This is a pretty good little series that I watched not too long ago.  The writing is kind of confusing at times.  some times the plot doesn’t make a whole lot of sense/seemed weak.  The acting is pretty good.  especially Hyde/Jekyll.  I just enjoyed this series.  I didn’t really look too critically at it.

Recommend:  Sure.  It’s pretty good and it’s only 6 episodes long. :)

Thoughts: This was amazing.  It’s a very personal story about the author’s life and it’s just beautifully drawn.  There wasn’t one frame of this graphic novel that I didn’t find gorgeous.  The story has a lot of drama in it…which is balanced out by some awesome humorous sequences.  I adored this book.  I read it in less than a day and my boyfriend also read it in less than a day.

recommend:  yes!  Even if you aren’t in to comics or don’t think you are in to them I’m sure you would love this.  It’s more like a novel that just so happens to be illustrated.  Wonderful book.

Thoughts: I was really nervous about going to the theaters and seeing this.  I usually do not enjoy comedies.  From the previews I thought this was going to be funny with a bit of a serious side, and I was right!  The humor is so clever and well timed and I enjoyed every minute of it.  Not many movies can make me laugh and cry like a little baby.  This movie was very real and I felt that I could relate to every character, even the ass hole of a girlfriend.

Recommend:  yes.  Highly recommend this one.

Thoughts:  I really like how this is a super hero comic, but not really.  It’s not really focused on She-hulk smashing things, but more on Jennifer and her being a lawyer working on super hero cases.  It’s very interesting.  I really like the art in the beginning of the book.  I think I like it more than the art towards the end, but what evs.  Both are really good.

Recommend:  YES!  Especially if you want to get in to comics, but don’t know where to start.  This one is very good. :

Thoughts:  When I saw the beginning I was real worried that this was going to suck hardcore because the way the story was introduced was real awkward or something.  I was so worried.  But once the movie started to get moving I really liked it.  The visual effects were beautiful.  At the beginning of the movie when I thought it sucked I was all like “Welp, at least this is beautiful” But, anyways, Thor is good.

Recommend: Yes.  I think the story is well presented to even if you don’t know a damn thing about Thor (Like me) you can still really enjoy this movie.

Thoughts:  It’s really hard to rate these since they’re translated from Japanese to English and I feel a lot is lost in translation.  I feel like they are trying to be too accurate with the translations to the point that it makes everything sound really fucking stupid in English.  I feel like good writing can make or break a graphic novel.  I usually don’t mind if the art is kind of not high quality if the story is bangin’. The art is good and the story telling of the panels is pretty good.  It’s nice that the art isn’t flipped so the hand bias is harder to see.  I wish there were little notes and stuff like there were when the manga was released originally.  Maybe they will be included in later issues.  

Recommend: For nostalgia’s sake.  I don’t really see anyone getting hooked on the series from these Manga.  Everything seems really distant and cold. :/
